The world is harsh, violent, ugly… and that can get exhausting. Through this ongoing project I’m trying to focus on the beauty, the flowers, the light. I’m trying to give myself a breath of fresh air, a moment to feel at peace. I can only hope these images can bring that to someone else too.

The light green leaves of the bush overflow their boundaries growing past the wooden fence. The sunshine falls on them painting their shadows.

In the bright lush garden stands a lonely wooden fence. From the shadows surrounding it emerges a small plant, bathed in the summer’s light.
